Reporting Unsafe Behaviour at Bachata Socials in London

ree

Our Goal: We want to keep Bachata events safe and fun for everyone. We do this by reminding the community how to keep it safe and respectful, and taking action to stop unsafe behaviour at Bachata socials.

Depending on how serious a report is, or if we receive lots of reports about the same person, actions might include monitoring, warnings, or bans from future events or classes.

Below, we'll share how to report an incident

  • 1/ How To Report to organizers or teachers

You have the right to report any unsafe or inappropriate behavior to organisers or teachers at any time.

If you are at a social or a class:

  •  Find a teacher after the class

  •  Find an organiser

  •  Ask the DJ for an organiser or a teacher

What to remember to tell them:

  • Where and when the unsafe behaviour happened

  • Details about the dancer or share info to identify them (ie photo or Instagram profile)

  • How their actions caused you to feel unsafe or uncomfortable
